I’d appreciate it if you could confirm that you believe that:

1. HIV exists
2. HIV causes AIDS.
3. HIV is a life threatening illness
4. HIV antibody tests accurately diagnose HIV.
5. Current HIV medicines extend life.
6. HIV is heterosexually as well as homosexually transmitted.
7. When used properly, condoms can prevent HIV transmission
8. HIV-positive women risk transmitting HIV to their children if they breast feed.

The AIDS Creed

I believe in HIV, AIDS and the Global Pandemic.

I believe that those afflicted with HIV will suffer under AIDS until they die.

I believe that on the first day Robert Gallo created antibody tests. On the second day he separated the godly from the evil. On the third day those with the mark descended into the hell of AIDS and will not rise again until dead.

Gallo, on the other hand, will ascend into heaven where he will be forgiven all his sins. He will be seated where he cannot reach the wallet of the Father Almighty.

On the fourth day AZT was invented. On the fifth day it created its first miracle. On the sixth day people started dying, but it wasn’t by AZT, all the faithful know it was HIV.

On the seventh day it was discovered that HIV is heterosexually as well as homosexually transmitted – gay in America and straight in Africa. Because we, the priesthood, know that only gay men and Africans are sinners.

I believe in condoms and abstinence and being faithful to my partner of the opposite sex. If I conform before I am afflicted I may be saved. If I sin, yea even once, I will suffer eternal damnation.

I believe in the communion of scientists at expensive conferences in exotic locations with token members of the HIV-positive community. I believe in wearing red ribbons and buying red T-Shirts and not asking where all the money is going.

I believe that mothers with HIV are also sinners who can only be forgiven if they give AZT to their babies. And I believe that their breasts give death not life, and that only we, the men in white coats, the holy ones, can give their children life. And if a mother refuses our gifts, we will smite her mightily.

We believe in shunning those who adhere to the scientific method, silencing those who would insist on open debate, casting out those who will not bow to our faith, and ridiculing those who refuse the money, status and platform that we can bring them.
